Over UEA (oct. 12-14) weekend we went to the cabin with the Thurgood's, Wilson's and Steele's. It was cold enough that the water in the cabin had to be shut off, so the outhouse was in full use. We had to bring our own water for everything else. We had a blast four wheeling, shooting guns and eating together.







Friday night we had a neighboorhood halloween party at the McEwan's. Everyone came dressed up and no kids allowed. It was a blast. They had a haunted house as you walked in, tombstones in the front yard with poems about everyone on them. Our said, "Jay and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water, Jay fell down and broke his crown, so Jill moved to Wisconsin without him." Then we played some games, ate food and some brave souls played Fear Factor. Jay was one of them and Deloy was another. They had to eat pigs feet, sardines, liver, chicken gizzards, pudding with vienna sausages and other strange things. Deloy won and Jay came in second. He brushed his teeth for a very long time afterwards.



Saturday night we went to another halloween party with friends from Jay's high school. Melanie had lots of fun activities planned for the kids. They listened to a scary story, hit a pinata, felt gross things, played tombstone walk, etc. In the picture is Melanie, me and Liberty. The three witches.
