Well, we saw the weather the other day and they said that we have a new record for rainfall this month - 9.23". No wonder we have flood issues. Guess it's good to know where all the rain goes when it does make records.
At the MN State Fair. We walked past these officers and Liberty stopped and wanted to meet them. It was the guy on the left idea to make it a photo op.
Our souvenir photo.
Jay's going to kill me for posting this one.
Our little farm hand.

At the Minnesota Twins baseball game. One afternoon as I was leaving the lot these guys (wild turkeys) decided to cross the street. There were about 30. It was so cool.
I'm wondering what kind of birds these are. I pulled up right next to them and they didn't budge. Sure are cute.
Here is an after picture from the flood.
Grandma Bankston's 83rd birthday with 3 great grandkids. We're going to have to have a talk with Liberty about modesty. ;)

On Monday night we had a severe Thunderstorm head through our area. This is some of the standing water on Tuesday morning.

The sump pump ran for about 7 hours and most of the water is gone now. I'm just loving this midwest weather.

Jay and my handiwork at housewrap.
Liberty showing the workers her latest frog find.
Drilling the well.
Having dinner at a restaraunt in Fargo, ND and celebrating Dad's birthday.
The kittens trying milk for the first time. Some wore it more than actually drinking it. Some even got so excited they crawled in the bowl.

We made a visit to Como Park last Friday. Jay had the day off, which is amazing in itself. Como Park is a cool park/zoo and it's free. They have all kinds of animals, a conservatory and rides. We had a picnic, walked through the consevatory, saw all the animals and let Liberty go on a few rides. It was a pretty hot day and we didn't drink enough water, as a result we had headaches. It was worth it though.
